Painswick Inn

 

Painswick Inn houses 10 Service Users at any one time: each resident has their own partially furnished bedroom and will have their own licence agreement. The building is owned by Knightstone Housing Association and is managed by Five Valleys Foyer.

The room rent may be payable if you are employed, but we will help you explore benefits if you are entitled to them. You will have to pay a small top-up charge each week for water and communal facilities.

 

We provide a bed, fridge and wardrobe/chest of drawers but you are welcome to bring along your own things too so that you feel at home. There are shared kitchens and bathrooms on each floor and these are cleaned on a rota basis by each service user in turn. You will be expected to meet with your support worker at least once per week to work towards goals on your action plan, items on your action plan may include:

Shopping

Healthy Living

Sustaining your licence agreement

Looking for work or training

Applying for benefits

Cooking

Life skills such as cleaning, washing, basic DIY

 

You may also be invited to join in with group activities such as cookery workshops or gardening.
