Who are the housing staff team?

Hayley Clark – Housing and Support Manager

Hayley has worked in Supported Housing for 7 years, starting as a support worker and working her way up to a managerial position.  She joined Five Valleys Foyer in January 2009 and manages both the Housing and Enhanced Support teams.  She loves working with young people and encouraging each individual’s potential.  Hayley is currently championing greater Service User involvement within Five Valleys Foyer.

Amanda Riley – Team Leader

Amanda has worked at Five Valleys Foyer for over 6 years.  She was a support worker and is now the Housing Team Leader.  Amanda is also the Learning Power Tutor for the Housing Service Users and encourages as many of them as possible to get involved and develop greater self-confidence.

Danny McCue – Support Worker

Danny has been at Five Valleys Foyer for many years.  He works in both the Housing and EST teams and has a range of talents, such as music, story-telling, poetry, and creative writing, all of which he uses in his work with the Service Users here at Five Valleys.

Nik Marshall – Support Worker

Nik works with both the Housing and EST teams.  He is the practical member of the team, who we call on for all DIY activities.  His skills allow him to help the Service Users with hands-on learning, such as basic DIY skills or wiring a plug.

Richard Matthews – Support Worker

Richard is the “Food Guru” of the team, using his skills as a chef to work creatively with the Service Users, hosting cookery workshops, and looking at Healthy Living and Cooking on a budget.  Richard has also been known to engage Service Users in the odd Yoga session or two.

Pam Harris – Specialist Practitioner

Pam is a Psychologist and complements the team by offering one-to-one support for our Service Users.  Her skills are in understanding what makes us all tick, and being able to ensure that specialist help is called in where necessary.  Her contribution ensures that any residents with psychological and emotional issues are dealt with professionally.
