Training

 

As well as being able to access on site education and training we encourage our service users to complete the Learning Power qualification. This is completed in conjunction with Worcester College www.wortech.ac.uk

 

This qualification helps you to develop both emotionally and mentally and looks at some of the issues of homelessness and the reasons behind it and supports the development needs of vulnerable people.

 

You will work through building your portfolio, with one-to-one support from our qualified tutor, and will be able to gain an entry level City and Guilds (link) qualification within one academic year.  This qualification is recognised by future employers.

To enable you to complete this qualification you may:

• Qualify for financial assistance to help with your learning.

• Acquire ‘credits’ which can assist you in securing a place on a college course.

• Improve your self-confidence and help you improve the way you feel about yourself.

• Learn more about your strengths and weaknesses and how to improve on your weaknesses.
