Move On Accommodation
When the Housing team have assessed that you are independent enough to move on, there are various options available:
As well as some private rented flats that Five Valleys Service Users can access,
we also have other move-
· Council Housing – We may be able to nominate you to go on the council waiting list
to be housed by them in independent accommodation. You may be offered the chance
of a bed-
· Housing Association – Through the council, they may also put you on various Housing Association waiting lists in this area.
· Private Rented – Five Valleys Foyer can help you look for private rented accommodation. This could be a shared flat or house or even your own flat.
· Other options could also relate to your chosen career. Have you ever thought about becoming a Red Coat at Butlins? Or a career in the Armed Forces? Maybe you are thinking of going to University or travelling? You can explore all these options with your support worker.
